“Caleb really knows how to do everything in the Warehouse. There is nothing we can’t give him. I can trust him with any given task from pulling orders to directing trucks. He knows all the clients, systems, and software.

We trust him to fill in positions when needed. Caleb shows up and performs well in his job. He is our go-to reliable guy”.

We have moved

New location

We did not move far! In fact, we are at the same location. Midwest Warehousing’s office is just in front of the warehouse on the second floor.

The future is bright

Thanks to wonderful clients like you, we have outgrown our workspace and expanded into a 5,000 sqaure foot office space to better our facilities.

There is more flexible office space, bigger social area, and more interactive lunch area.

Also, coming soon to our new facilities is our brand wall. We are excited to celebrate our clients and our history together.

We believe our new space will match our ambition for our future.

Let’s Go

Red Wings!

Top 5 reasons to use 3pl

Provider for your business

Using a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider can offer numerous benefits to your ecommerce company. Here are the top five reasons why you might consider using a 3PL for your ecommerce business:

1. Cost Efficiency:

Economies of Scale: 3PL providers typically handle logistics for multiple clients, allowing them to achieve economies of scale. This means they can negotiate better rates with shipping carriers, warehouse space providers, and other service providers, resulting in cost savings that they can pass on to their clients.

Reduced Overhead: Outsourcing logistics operations to a 3PL eliminates the need for ecommerce companies to invest in and maintain their own warehouses, transportation fleets, and technology infrastructure. This can significantly reduce overhead costs.

2. Focus on Core Competencies:

Core Business Focus: Outsourcing logistics allows ecommerce companies to concentrate on their core competencies, such as product development, marketing, and customer service. By leaving the logistics to experts, businesses can improve their overall efficiency and effectiveness in their primary areas of operation.

3. Scalability and Flexibility:

Adaptability to Growth: Ecommerce businesses often experience fluctuations in demand, especially during peak seasons. 3PL providers can easily scale their services to accommodate fluctuations in order volume, ensuring that businesses can meet customer demands without the need to invest in additional resources or infrastructure.

Global Reach: Many 3PL providers have a global network of warehouses and distribution centers. This enables ecommerce companies to expand their market reach without the complexities and costs associated with setting up their own international logistics network.

4. Improved Customer Service:

Faster Shipping Times: 3PL providers strategically position warehouses to optimize shipping times, allowing ecommerce companies to fulfill orders more quickly. This can lead to improved customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Order Accuracy: Professional 3PL providers often use advanced technologies, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and order fulfillment software, to ensure accurate and efficient order processing. This reduces the likelihood of errors in order fulfillment.

5. Technology and Expertise:

Advanced Technology: 3PL providers invest in cutting-edge logistics technology, including inventory management systems, order tracking, and analytics tools. Ecommerce companies can benefit from these technologies without having to make their own significant investments.

Logistics Expertise: 3PL providers specialize in logistics and supply chain management. Their expertise can help ecommerce companies navigate complex logistics challenges, optimize processes, and stay updated on industry best practices.

Partnering with a 3PL can provide ecommerce companies with cost savings, operational efficiency, scalability, improved customer service, and access to advanced logistics technologies. These factors can contribute to the overall success and growth of an ecommerce business.
